Our Story

From Seed to Table

Our story is written in the turning of the seasons. It’s in the quiet patience of waiting for seeds to sprout in the cool PNW spring, the joy of a summer harvest bursting with flavor, and the cozy work of fermentation and preservation that fills our pantry for the winter.

From tangy, fermented salsa to sweet berry preserves, every jar tells a story of the year's bounty. This homestead is more than just a place; it's our classroom and our sanctuary. It’s where we learn, grow, and create wholesome, delicious food for our family and friends.

Thank you for visiting and sharing in our journey. We hope to inspire you to find a deeper connection with your own food, wherever you are.

About Us

The Story of a Hippie Farmer

Here in our little corner of the Pacific Northwest, life moves with the seasons. We’re driven by a simple, powerful idea: to know exactly where our food comes from. It’s a journey that began with a growing awareness of the chemicals used in mainstream agriculture and a desire to get our hands back in the soil. We wanted to nourish our family with food we could trust, grown with methods that honor the earth.

This desire sparked a transformation. We didn't just want to eat better; we wanted to live better.

Our Philosophy

Cultivating with Purpose

For us, farming is a partnership with nature. Our philosophy is rooted in connection—to the land, to our food, and to our community. We believe the healthiest food comes from healthy soil, which is why we grow everything without synthetic pesticides and chemicals.

Our garden is a "potager," a French-style kitchen garden where flowers, herbs, fruits, and vegetables grow side-by-side. This isn't just for beauty; it's a practical ecosystem where companion planting helps manage pests and enrich the soil naturally. What we can't grow ourselves, we source from local farmers who share our commitment to sustainable, ethical practices.
